I have a 2001 Camero and am being told that it has to have a battery that cost $300.00 because of it’s engine. Is this true ?

absolutely not, it should be a group 75 or 78 battery which is a very common side post costing at most $100

NO WAY JUST NEED ONE WITH THE RIGHT POST TO HOOK UP CABLES AND THE RIGHT COLD CRANKING AMP, YOU CAN GO UP A LITTLE BIT IF YOUR A COLD CLIMENT.

For group 75 battery when you should ask for group 75 battery specs for group 75 battery with minimum of 525 cold cranking amps this is the factory battery when you go to the factory battery when you should ask for your car.
