How do you tell What kind of camaro you have?

Meaning..is it a berlinetta, an iroc z, or a z28. It doesn’t say on the title, I just bought the car, all it says is that its an 82 camaro. My girlfriends dad is a GM Mechanic and says it kind of looks like the z28 body and it has an RS z28 hood, but that could be an after market hood. Is there any distinguished way to be able to tell what kind of camaro it is?

For starters you should check the engine and transmission to see if they are stock equiptment according to see if they are stock equiptment according to see if they are stock equiptment according to the cars vin number and transmission to see if they are stock.
