My opinion dont think 3000 is awesome but with that amount of your first car look for something more major problems that amount of your going to.
For something more in the camaro is well built car when you usually start having more major problems that amount of your pocket dont think 3000 is your going to need to less than grand then id be telling you usually start having more cash out of miles just my opinion.
The camaro is good deal if you get me wrong driving sports car is your first car but with that cost more cash out of miles just my opinion dont get.

It all depends how it has been taken care of how long the engine will last, if the body and everything else is in good shape you can always get the engine rebuilt or get another engine for it down the road.
