How to bypass camaro convertible safety feature?

I own a ‘97 convertible camaro and am trying to figure out a way to let me operate the convertible top while i’m in Drive. Does anybody know of a way to bypass it so I don’t always have to put it in Park to operate it?

      key word safety. and if your car moving it will mess up your top. but sure you will find a way to do this. good luck
