I recently purchased a 1997 camaro, with 106,000 miles on it. It is in really good condition. I test drove it and had my mechanic check it out before I bought it; he gave me the thumbs up. Now that i have been driving it for a couple of days, with passengers in the car, i have realized that when i go over bumps.. like the ones that you go over when leaving a gas station to get back on the road… i experience a loud bang from the rear of my car. Could this mean that the rear shocks or struts need to be replaced?
