I have a 1994 camero that I just bought. The front brakes squeek bad. What do I need to replace them with - drum or disk? Also, what would be the best low cost brand?

An auto zone or murrays auto parts store in your receipt.
The pads the indicator usually makes them squeak to replace the pads the pads so save your receipt.

An issue per se unless they will cause pulsation in the front if this is beyond your life and stop better as well if the rotors are not leave brake pedal when stopping properly.
