put this way, older cars and trucks have more power then new cars and trucks, the new ones has goveners in them that controls speed and power, but the older vehicles got more power, and no tractions control, new vehicles are becoming gas saver and suppose to help the air,

First off, despite being rated at 305hp, they actually make 350hp. Second, those numbers are ESTIMATES. A lot of variables decide the fuel economy of vehicles.
